Mint Springs Park (Crozet, VA) 5/22/10

I went to Mint Springs Park near Crozet, VA for this first time this morning. Seemed to be a great place to go birding. I walked around for about an hour near the lakes and parking areas, and then it started raining before I got a chance to go on any of the mountain trails. Highlight of the morning was a Swainson's Thrush. Also saw Bluebirds, Phoebes, American Goldfinches, Red-winged Blackbirds, Red-eyed Vireos, and Chipping Sparrows.
