Stoney Creek (Wintergreen) 3/19/12

The rain that was forecasted for today did not materialize, so Alice and I went for a late morning walk. I usually take my camera along just in case. We were treated to a small Garter Snake that was sunning itself on the warm asphalt road. We also several Eastern Painted Turtles, a Hermit Thrush, and a Red-shouldered Hawk has been hanging around our house most of the day.
