I met up with Walt Childs at the Rockfish Valley Trail this morning. A cool front moved through the area last night, and we wanted to see if any new migrating birds may have stopped there. The trail wasn't very "birdy," but we did manage to see 24 avian species, including two warbler species: Palm and Common Yellowthroat, and three sparrow species: Chipping, Lincoln's, and Grasshopper.
