There were lots of Northern Mockingbirds in Southwest Florida, and it seemed as though everywhere I saw Loggerhead Shrikes, Northern Mockingbirds were close by.



I did witness what appeared to be a courtship dance between two Northern Mockingbirds. First one of them would jump in the air, and a few moments after it landed, the other one would jump in the air. After a few minutes they walked away without consumating the event.




I usually don't take video clips, but I did capture this comical dance in a short clip:
