Stoney Creek (Wintergreen) 4/17/15

I hiked here in Stoney Creek this morning and logged 31 avian species. Most of them were common birds for here, but as I approached the Allen Creek Nature Preserve, I saw a Broad-winged Hawk circling high above with Black and Turkey Vultures. As I left the nature preserve, a Red-shouldered Hawk was perched nearby. A pair of Pied-billed Grebes were swimming in Lake Monocan.
