We had rain on Thursday and through the night, but there was a break in the morning, so I went over to the Rockfish Valley Trail. As soon as I got there, it started to drizzle so I came back home to Stoney Creek.
As I pulled into Stoney Creek, the clouds had thinned and there wasn't any rain, so I did a short hike to the Allen Creek Nature Preserve. The Neighborhood Watch Crow Patrol was out, and they were chasing a Bald Eagle over some of the Sawmill Creek ponds.

I took another short hike in the afternoon, and saw a few more birds, but there wasn't a lot of activity.
