Waynesboro, VA, 4/8/16

I had some free time this afternoon, so I went for a short hike in Ridgeview Park in Waynesboro. I was hoping to see some early migrating warblers, but all I saw there were 15 common winter species. The vegetation is starting to get green, and hopefully there will be some migrating birds in a weeek or two.

Northern Cardinal

Eastern Phoebe

Downy Woodpecker

White-throated Sparrow

Ruby-crowned Kinglet

Virginia Bluebells
