I decided to stay closer to home today, and first did some hiking in Old Trail. There weren't many birds out, but I did seen an Osprey circling above the golf course pond as it searched for fish. A few minutes later, I saw it carrying its breakfast.

I then drove over to the Lickinghole Creek and Reservoir and hiked part of the Crozet Connector Trail and then down to the reservoir. As soon as I arrived, I saw three Red-shouldered Hawks practicing their aerial maneuvers, and a Turkey Vulture joined in the fun.
