I hiked the Lindy Bain loop trail this morning, and ended up with 26 avian species. Both the Blue Jays and the Crows were pretending to be squirrels as they were busy gathering acorns. I saw one of our resident Red-shouldered Hawks, and its bold white tail feathers must mean that it has some new feathers in its plumage.
