We had rain in the morning, but it cleared around noon. I did some early afternoon birding on Route 610 between mm. 2 and mm. 4 of the parkway, and hiked on the parkway a bit in both directions from the intersections of 610 and the parkway at those two locations. I ended up with 26 avian species, including my first of year Broad-winged Hawk, and I heard my first of year Ovenbird.

I did a little birding here in Old Trail this morning before a front moved in, bringing overcast skies and strong winds. I ended up with 20 avian species, and a few good mammal photos. The Red-shouldered Hawk eggs may have hatched, but mama seemed to be keeping the little ones warm, and I couldn't tell for sure if there are chicks or eggs in the nest.
