Old Trail

Between poor weather and other things I needed to do, I didn't do much birding this past week. I did end up with a combined list of at least 31 avian species.

January 23

A short hike yielded about 20 avian species. The highlight was a pair of Bald Eagles circling over Western Park.

January 24

Poor weather cut this hike short, and once again, I ended up with about 20 avian species.

I had time for a longer hike this morning. There was almost total cloud cover until just before I ended my hike, and I had 27 avain species this morning.
