Old Trail

It was a nice morning to be out birding here in Old Trail. Although I ended up with only 24 avian species, I was able to get a few good photos. I re-located the boldly colored Red-winged Blackbird in the marshy area of Western Park.

Ruby-crowned Kinglets don't expose their ruby crown very often. One bird of this species that I saw this morning was exceptional.

One of our resident Red-shouldered Hawks landed on a roof top, as was soon mobbed and harassed by American Crows.
