It was starting to get overcast and cooler this morning. I was surprised to see how dry the marshes were compared to just a few days earlier, and assumed that the lack of rain for a few days had dried a lot of the soil. This wildlife preserve was really busy today, and I got the last parking spot. Once again, I only hiked to the Ibis Pond, and back to the parking area. There were far fewer birds than I had seen on Monday, but I did see my only two alligators of this trip.
